To ensure that the servant-leaders fill voids, perform tasks, carry burdens, defend, assist, aid, remedy, repair, relieve, cover, prepare, provide, sustain, and whatever is necessary to liberate the pastor to do the work of the Gospel and provide ease for the gifts of God to flow unfettered in the local church – the Ministry of Helps (described in 1 Corinthians 12:28) is entered into when one realizes that he has a ministry gifting of God to help others fulfill their ministry, ease their load, take busy work out of their way, and to honor them by serving them. In so doing, the Ministry of Helps becomes a joint partaker in the rewards of allowing the ministry and vision God has given the pastor to proceed in a proper and orderly manner.
